I feel alone in the city
I feel alone in the crowd
I try to listen to reason
But the city’s too loud
I took my heart to a doctor
He took one look in my eyes
He told me hearts may be broken
But the love never dies

is it her hand, or that of an unseen other, cupping at her bub? meg’s flesh is both soft and hard, like water and ice, a pond colded over in winter. leaves and litter fixed in the thin layer of time stood still. yet underneath there moves a world, a sea of frenzy. the babydoll black lace cannot hold her, tits spilling, thrilling out from their fragile hold. the brassiere thrown off in disgust, like a handcuff dangling from the bedpost. here, in your face, wrap your mouth around this. i dare you. lift the thigh, spread her leg a little. she has nothing to hide her breasts, so i place all my chips on the sqaure that says she wears nothing underneath. a little wider, still. soft and hard and dry and wet and near and far. both here and there…

a pout in porcelain. did the dollmaker take liberties in payments to the lipstickman, or has she indeed come to life in the night and wiped the rouge away on collars, lips, on cigarette tips? somewhat french, somewhat frauline, miming madame, as silent as the chasm of her soft but suppressed breasts. or is this an indifferent doll? so many hands have picked and lifted, dressed and downed, discarded in the corner of the toybox. do unto me as you will. for i feel no pain. i am the ragdoll of the workshop, and i want so to be real.
